Brighton and Tottenham face off at The Amex on Saturday in what is already matchweek five of the new Premier League season.

Brighton vs. Tottenham Prediction, Pick
Brighton haven’t had a great start to the season by any stretch, but I am still backing them to pick up the win in this match.
Part of that is how these teams matched up last season, as Brighton did the double over Spurs. They won 3-2 in their home match before beating Tottenham 4-1 in an impressive road win. Brighton have won three of the last five head-to-head games, while Spurs have won twice.
Another factor is Tottenham playing in the Champions League on Tuesday. Brighton have the home crowd, the rest advantage and the better recent track record between these teams.
To start this season, Brighton have only won one of their four games, but it was against Man City and they are still undefeated at the Amex in two games. They sit 13th in the league.
For Tottenham, it’s been a better start, winning three of their first four games. They’ve beaten Burnley, Man City and West Ham while falling to Bournemouth, which is good enough for third place. This, however, will be their first game of the Premier League season having also played earlier in the week. You never really know what Tottenham team you are going to get, but I’m banking on them to not be at their sharpest on Saturday.
