DraftKings TNF Pick6 Fantasy Football Picks: Top Plays for Thursday Night Football Week 3

Published:

By: Blake Krass

The NFL season is already onto Week 3 and there are far more ways to get involved in the action than just via traditional betting. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this season is Pick6 Fantasy Football!

Here are my top Pick6 plays for Thursday Night Football.

Tua Tagovailoa More Than 0.5 Passing Yards

It has been a tough start to the season for Tua Tagovailoa, but luckily, DraftKings Pick6 is offering an amazing promotion to get you a free winner in your Pick6 plays this week. With this promo pick, Tagovailoa just needs to throw for at least one yard for this pick to count as a winner in your Pick6 play. It has been a tale of two games for Tagovailoa so far, throwing for just 114 yards against the Colts in Week 1 before throwing for 315 yards against the Patriots in Week 2. With that unpredictability, it’s nice to know that you need Tagovailoa to throw for just one yard in this game.

James Cook More Than 0.5 Rushing + Receiving TDs

James Cook has become a touchdown machine for the Buffalo Bills. He tied for the NFL lead in rushing touchdowns last season and is already tied for the early lead this season with three rushing touchdowns in two games. After rushing for over 1,000 yards in each of the past two seasons, Cook has been rewarded with both a new contract and more trust from his coaching staff. They used to always want the ball in Josh Allen’s hands close to the end zone, but now Cook gets a lot of carries inside the red zone. Cook can be a goal-line back between the tackles despite his size, but can also break off a long touchdown run like he did for 44 yards against the Jets in Week 2. The Dolphins’ defense has been horrible so far this season. They rank 32nd in EPA/play and 31st in success rate through two games, which came against the Colts and Patriots. The Bills have been the best offense in the NFL so far this season and should get plenty of scoring chances against the Dolphins.

Dalton Kincaid More Than 29.5 Receiving Yards

The Bills are hoping for a big season from Dalton Kincaid. After a promising rookie season in which he ranked second on the team in receptions and third in receiving yards, he took a step back in his sophomore season. Part of that was due to injuries, playing in just 13 games, but Kincaid finished with just 448 receiving yards, which did still rank third on the team. A big part of the Bills’ offense when it comes to fantasy football is that since Stefon Diggs left, they don’t have a clear top pass catcher. Josh Allen loves to spread the ball out to many different targets, even two tight ends with Kincaid and Dalton Knox. However, this season they seem to have a more defined pecking order with the wide receiver trio of Coleman, Shakir and Palmer, then Kincaid at tight end. Kincaid has four catches in each of their first two games, going for 48 yards against the Ravens and 37 against the Jets. Through two weeks, the Dolphins rank dead last in the NFL in defensive EPA/dropback and defensive dropback success rate. Allen should be able to throw all over Miami, and just a couple of big catches from Kincaid should get him over this number.

What is DraftKings Pick6?

Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of 2+ players and select whether you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.

How to Play

Create a Pick Set

Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice, and you must pick players from at least two different teams.

Enter an Amount

Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.

Sweat Your Picks

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.

Compete for Prizes

Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
