Home runs. Long balls. Bleacher reachers. Whatever you want to call them, people love watching and betting on home run props during baseball games. So much so, we’ve got a whole article dedicated to just that.
Thanks to a doubleheader, there’s actually 16 games on Tuesday’s MLB slate. With so many players to choose from, here are my top three home run prop picks on DraftKings Sportsbook: Rob Refsnyder, Junior Caminero and Jackson Chourio.
Top Home Run Props on DraftKings Sportsbook
Rob Refsynder 1+ Home Run (+650)
The Red Sox might employ two of the best right-handed platoon bats in the league in Rob Refsnyder and Romy Gonzalez (+474). Each is hitting well above .300 against LHPs in 2025 and both have an ISO at or above .270 within the split. Really, you could back either to go deep on Tuesday night in a matchup with Jeffrey Springs, yet Refsynder gets my “official” pick for two reasons. First and foremost, his odds are significantly longer than his teammate’s, so there’s some good betting value to be had. Secondly, Refsynder is 3-for-8 in his career off Springs, and two of the three hits have left the park. Overall, Springs has allowed 25 home runs to opposing RHBs this season, which equates out to a whopping 1.77 long balls per nine. At Fenway Park, pitching in front of the Green Monster, I think Springs adds to that total.
Junior Caminero 1+ Home Run (+289)
Jose Berrios did look better in his last outing, surrendering just two earned runs over 5.1 innings of work. Berrios also featured his highest average fastball velocity in a start since the beginning of May (93.8), so it’s possible the extra rest he’s been receiving has been paying off. That said, I really don’t trust the man that has surrendered more home runs than anyone in baseball since 2022 — especially not at George M. Steinbrenner Field. Berrios has struggled most with opposing RHBs in 2025, conceding 1.90 long balls per nine within the split. One of those came back on May 24, at this very same stadium, off the bat of Junior Caminero. Fast forward, and Caminero has the sixth-most home runs in the league (44) and a 93rd percentile hard hit rate (51.8%) to back them all up. Caminero possesses a .294 ISO and a 161 wRC+ at home this season. He loves hitting at this Single-A park.
Jackson Chourio 1+ Home Run (+393)
Don’t look now, but Jackson Chourio has been on absolute fire since returning from the IL on August 30, slashing .314/.373/.569 with three home runs and a 156 wRC+ across 59 plate appearances. After an underwhelming start to his sophomore campaign, it’s good to see the 21-year-old looking like a future MVP candidate once again. I expect those good results will continue on Tuesday evening against Caden Dana and the Angels. Dana owns a 7.62 career ERA over 26.0 innings at the MLB level. It’s obviously a small sample, but it’s one where he’s given up an eye-popping nine home runs. Specific to 2025, Dana has surrendered 4.76 long balls per nine to opposing RHBs. Woof. There’s a decent chance multiple Brewers leave the yard tonight. I’m confident Chourio will be one of them.
