The WNBA playoffs continue Tuesday with a two-game slate. The Fever are hosting the Dream, and the Storm are hosting the Aces. Both the Fever and Storm are 0-1 in these best-of-three series, and these teams will be eliminated with a loss. Jackie Young 22+ Points and Assists (-115)
The Aces head into Tuesday’s Game 2 vs. the Storm riding a 17-game win streak, and Young has been a huge part of the club’s impressive run, averaging 16.5 points and 6.4 assists in 31.8 minutes per game during this win streak. The guard has posted at least 22 PA in 10 of these 17 games, and she has faced Seattle twice during this stretch. First, she posted 26 points and five assists vs. the Storm on August 8th, and then Young recorded 18 points and seven assists in this past Sunday’s Game 1 vs. Seattle.
This season, Young leads Las Vegas with a 30.9% assist percentage, and her career-high 24.2% usage rate ranks second for the Aces, trailing only three-time MVP A’ja Wilson. Young should see huge minutes as the Aces look to advance tonight, and she should have zero issues reaching 22 PA.
Kelsey Mitchell O 19.5 Points (-120)
While this is a tough matchup against a Dream defense that ranks second in rating this season, Mitchell is going to garner a massive role with the Fever’s season on the line, and her workload out trumps the matchup concerns. In Game 1 vs. Atlanta on Sunday, Mitchell led Indiana with 27 points while shooting 50% from the field. The veteran logged 33 minutes and handled a 28.4% usage rate in this loss with Caitlin Clark (groin), Sophie Cunningham (knee) and Aari McDonald (foot) all sidelined for the Fever.
These three players are done for the season, and with this trio sidelined for the last 10 games, Mitchell is averaging 20.4 PPG and has topped 19.5 points in six of these 10 contests.
Lexie Hull U 1.5 Made Three Pointers (-145)
Hull falling short of 1.5 made three pointers is very likely vs. the Dream on Tuesday. This season, Atlanta ranks second in defensive rating, and the club is giving up the fewest made three pointers per game in the WNBA (6.5). Hull is averaging 1.3 made three pointers per game while shooting 37% from beyond the arc this season, and she went 1-of-5 from distance in this past Sunday’s Game 1 vs. the Dream.
This marked the fifth time Hull has faced Atlanta this season, and she has failed to hit multiple three pointers in all of these contests.
