NFL Pick ‘Em Pool Predictions for Week 3 2025

Updated:

By: Blake Krass

There are so many different ways to make your picks for Week 3 of the NFL season on DraftKings and DraftKings Sportsbook. The DraftKings Pick ‘Em pools are one of the best ways to get in on the action.

DraftKings has huge NFL Pick ‘Em pools for Week 3. You can enter the $5 NFL Week 3 Spreads Pool with $5,000+ in prizes here. You can also enter the $100 NFL Week 3 Spreads Pool with $5,000+ in prizes here.

NFL Pick ‘Em Pools

These pools are really easy to use and allow you to have action for the entire NFL season with just one entry fee. For the season-long pools, each week you will go back to the pool and pick five games on the slate against the spread. Each correct selection is worth 1 point. You will also be given one “skip week” during the season, where you don’t need to make picks if you don’t have a good feel for that slate. In total, you will make 80 selections throughout the NFL regular season. That way, even if you have one bad week, you are still in contention in the contest. You can also play the weekly pools, where you pick every featured game against the spread.

Every week of the regular season, I will be giving out my five favorite selections, along with my leans for every other game on the slate.

Week 3 Picks

Jets +7.5 vs. Buccaneers — This is a great spot to bet against the Buccaneers, who have been quite fortunate through two games. Tampa Bay was outgained by 98 yards against the Falcons but won that game due to some fourth-down luck and a missed field goal by Atlanta. Then, in Week 2, it took a last-second touchdown to beat the Texans. The Jets struggled in Week 2 against the Bills, but it will be hard for Tampa Bay to game-plan for them this week. Tyrod Taylor is starting at quarterback for the Jets with Justin Fields in concussion protocol. Over the years, Tyrod Taylor has been one of the most reliable backup quarterbacks in the NFL to come in and keep his team competitive. Taylor is 34-21-4 ATS (61.8%) in his career as an NFL starter. The Jets’ pass rush should get after Baker Mayfield, and Taylor should be able to move the ball through the air against a poor Buccaneers’ secondary.

Falcons -5.5 @ Panthers — Typically, I would never want to bet a road favorite in a divisional game. However, the Panthers are that bad at the moment. They got dominated by the Jaguars in Week 1, then, despite the final score, were dominated again by the Cardinals for three quarters. Arizona got into an unwise conservative game plan after going up three scores, and Carolina was lucky to get a backdoor cover. The Falcons should be able to crush them. Atlanta leads the NFL in defensive EPA/play through two weeks. Their upgrades on defense in the offseason have paid dividends. They have a great pass rush, and Bryce Young is terrible against pressure. They should force Young into mistakes and dominate the field position battle. Meanwhile, the Panthers rank 24th in the NFL in defensive EPA/play, struggling against both the run and the pass. The Falcons’ balanced attack should be able to score and make this a comfortable win.

Rams +3.5 @ Eagles — This is a rematch of the great playoff game between these two last season. The Rams were the closest of any team to knocking off the Eagles in the postseason. Matthew Stafford had the ball and was driving down the field with a chance to win the game in the final minutes, but couldn’t quite cash it in. The Rams should be able to keep it close again this week. They have been a better team than the Eagles so far this season. Los Angeles ranks second in the NFL in defensive EPA/play and eighth in offensive EPA/play. Meanwhile, Philadelphia ranks 13th in both of those categories. The Philadelphia defense has not looked great, and Stafford should move the ball against them. If the Rams can keep up their strong run defense that they’ve shown through two games, they should have a chance to win this game.

Chargers -2.5 vs. Broncos — The Chargers have been one of the best teams in the NFL this season. Justin Herbert is playing the best football of his career and has the Chargers ranked first in the NFL in offensive EPA/dropback. The Broncos’ defense is not at the level of their defense last season. They got to play a rookie quarterback making his first start on the road in Week 1, then gave up 29 points to Daniel Jones in Week 2. Herbert should be able to move the ball against Denver and get points on the board. The Chargers’ defense ranks fifth in the NFL in EPA/play and completely shut the Raiders down on Monday night. The Chargers have home-field advantage, the better quarterback and the better coach. The defenses are a toss-up, but I will take the Chargers to cover the short spread.

Browns +8.5 vs. Packers — The Packers have looked like one of the best teams in the NFL through two weeks. However, this is the perfect opportunity to sell high on Green Bay. The Browns are not as bad as their result from last week looked. That game was 20-10 against the Ravens heading into the fourth quarter before Baltimore piled it on late, including a defensive touchdown. Joe Flacco should play better back at home for this game. The Browns’ defense is tough, ranking eighth in the NFL in success rate despite having to play Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson to start the season. Despite being 2-0, Cleveland has outgained both of their opponents so far this season. If they can avoid turning the ball over, Cleveland should be able to keep this game within one score.
