Burnley manager Scott Parker will not be happy to see Liverpool coming to town. Parker was sacked from the manager job at Bournemouth after losing to Liverpool 9-0 in 2022. Jaidon Anthony has two goals in three matches for Burnley this season, but he will have a tough task against Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate on Sunday. Burnley could struggle to create chances with the level of possession that Liverpool is likely to have throughout this game.

In their first match after the international break, they will be relieved to resume their season against a team projected to be relegated.
Tottenham had a 3-0 victory over Burnley earlier this season, and Liverpool could have a similar result in this match. The attacking group of Hugo Ekitike, Mo Salah, Cody Gakpo and Florian Wirtz — with Alexander Isak available off the bench — is a horrifying sight for a Burnley side that struggles defensively.
