What happened to Jayden Reed? Live injury updates for NFL Week 2 on 9/11/25

UPDATE: Reed will not return to Thursday’s game.

On the opening drive of Thursday’s game vs. the Commanders, Jordan Love loaded up a deep ball intended for Jayden Reed. The play ended up being called back due to a penalty, but Reed completed the catch and appeared to land awkwardly. He then headed back to the locker room with the training staff, and he is considered questionable to return with a shoulder injury.

Reed is a pivotal member of the offense, as he led the team in receiving yards last season with 857. In Week 1 of this season, Reed had an unusually quiet outing, recording three receptions for 45 yards on five targets. This would be a huge loss for the Green Bay offense, but luckily their roster is stacked at receiver. Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks and Matthew Golden will pick up the slack.

Stay tuned to DK Network for live updates on his injury.
