What happened to Jauan Jennings? Live injury updates for NFL Week 1 on 9/7/25

UPDATE: Jennings’ MRI has come back clean; will undergo a CT scan.

The San Francisco 49ers already lost George Kittle to injury earlier in the game, and now WR Jauan Jennings is questionable to return with a shoulder injury.

With the game already in the 4th quarter, it would be surprising to see Jennings again on Sunday. He struggled before exiting the game, only catching two of his five targets for 16 yards. 49ers fans will be hoping the injuries to Kittle and Jennings are not serious and that they will be ready to roll for Week 2.

Ricky Pearsall and Luke Farrell will have to pick up the slack in the meantime. Besides those two, the only other healthy San Francisco players with a reception on Sunday are running backs and Kyle Juszczyk.
