What happened to Tyreek Hill? Live injury updates for NFL Week 1 on 9/7/25

UPDATE: Tyreek Hill has returned to today’s Week 1 matchup against the Colts.

Tyreek Hill left the Miami Dolphins’ opening week matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The injury is currently undisclosed for what exactly the eight-time Pro Bowl wide receiver.

Before leaving the game, Hill had four catches on five targets for 40 yards. He has expressed plenty of frustration on the sideline already in the matchup before getting injured.

The outlook is going from bad to worse for Miami, with Tua Tagovailoa already having turned the ball over three times before even making it halfway through the third quarter. They generated just 43 yards of total offense in the first half and remain scoreless in the matchup at the time of writing.

More updates will be added as provided by the team, but this is far from the start to the season that Hill or the Dolphins envisioned.
