Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Carolina Panthers game delayed due to inclement weather on Sunday 9/7/25

UPDATE 2:58 PM E.T.: According to reports on the ground, the Jaguars vs. Panthers game is set to resume at around 3:15 PM ET.

Sunday’s game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Carolina Panthers to open the 2025 season at EverBank stadium has been delayed indefinitely due to inclement weather.

No time for resumption has been provided yet.

At the time of the delay, there’d yet to be a touchdown in the game, as both these new-and/or-ascending offenses have struggled to hit paydirt. Trevor Lawrence is feeding Brenton Strange; Travis Hunter seems to be thriving on underneath routes.

Score currently stands 10-3 Jaguars with 8:32 to go in the second quarter.
