Quarterback
Stud
Dante Moore, Oregon vs. OK State, $8,500
Dante Moore is hoping to follow in the footsteps of former Oregon quarterbacks. Dillon Gabriel was a Heisman finalist last season at Oregon, and Bo Nix was the season before. This Oregon offense is designed for quarterbacks to put up big numbers, but both of those quarterbacks were very experienced by the time they got to Eugene. Dante Moore started as a true freshman at UCLA and showed flashes of what he could be, but he was far too inconsistent. He transferred to Oregon last year to back up Dillon Gabriel, with the goal of maturing and learning the offense. Moore looked sharp in the opener against Montana State, but was not asked to do much. Oklahoma State has a lot of issues, but they have good athletes. That makes this a great chance for Moore to show what he can do and put up some big numbers.

Chandler Morris, Virginia at NC State, $6,300
Chandler Morris had a big first game at UVA. Morris has been all over the college football world, dealing with injuries and struggling to hold a starting job. He finally found success last season at North Texas, ranking ninth in the nation in passing yards. He transferred to Virginia in the offseason and is hoping to translate that level of play to the ACC. In the opener against Coastal Carolina, he played great, throwing a couple of touchdowns and using his legs. This will be a much bigger test in his first ACC game against NC State. However, Morris should be up to the task against this NC State team that gave up 366 passing yards last week against ECU.
Running Back
Stud
Nick Singleton, Penn State vs. FIU, $9,000
Nick Singleton is one of the best running backs in the country. He showed that even in these games against inferior opponents, where he won’t see as much action, he can make the most of his touches. He scored two touchdowns on just eight carries last week. Singleton is also Penn State’s best receiver out of the backfield, catching four balls for 37 yards last week. This should be another blowout win for Penn State, and Singleton will have the chance to put up some huge numbers before he gets rested for the remainder of the game.

Dante Dowdell, Kentucky vs. Ole Miss, $4,100
Dante Dowdell had a great first game with Kentucky. The former Oregon and Nebraska player has seemingly found a place where he can thrive at last. Dowdell got 14 carries against Toledo, rushing for 129 yards and a score. This will be a tougher matchup against Ole Miss, but Kentucky will want to lean on their run game. Their only chance of knocking off Ole Miss is limiting possessions by running the football and draining the clock. Kentucky quarterback Zach Calzada was awful last week, meaning the Wildcats will want to lean on Dowdell in this game.
Wide Receiver
Stud
Coy Eakin, Texas Tech vs. Kent State, $7,600
On a Texas Tech team full of transfers, Coy Eakin has worked his way through the system the old-fashioned way. Eakin saw some action as a freshman, became a big contributor with over 650 receiving yards last season, and is now looking to take the next step to be an elite receiver for the Red Raiders. Eakin started the season strong, with 47 receiving yards and a touchdown, despite seeing limited action against a bad UAPB team. Kent State is also a significantly inferior opponent, but not to the level of UAPB. That sets up perfectly for Eakin to see more time on the field, but he has a significant advantage over the Kent Stat secondary. It should be another good game for Eakin against the Golden Flashes.

Emmanuel Henderson Jr., Kansas at Missouri, $5,300
Emmanuel Henderson Jr. had a great game last week. Henderson was unable to break through at Alabama, so he transferred to Lawrence to be a Jayhawk. In their dominant win over Wagner, Henderson had six catches for 130 yards and two scores. Henderson showed what he is capable of, and will hopefully see more action in this big game because of it. Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels is one of the most exciting players in the sport, and he should be able to get the ball to Henderson in this game. The Jayhawks need a dynamic playmaker at wide receiver to balance out their great running game, and Henderson might end up being that guy this season.
Flex/Superflex
You can use any of the other names I listed in the above categories for the flex or superflex positions. However, here are a few more names, just in case.
Stud
Quintrevion Wisner, RB, Texas vs. SJSU, $8,300
Quintrevion Wisner should have a much better game this week than in his first season opener as RB1. Wisner ended up taking over the RB1 role midseason in 2024 after multiple injuries derailed the Texas backfield. He had some massive games for Texas last season and ended up rushing for over 1,000 yards. This season, he is expected to play a bigger role with a young quarterback and more experience under his belt. He ran the ball well against Ohio State, averaging 5.0 yards per carry and going for 80 yards. However, in this game against San Jose State, he could put up huge numbers. He should be more of a threat in the passing game and have the chance to put some touchdowns on the board.
Value
Beau Pribula, QB, Missouri vs. Kansas, $6,100
Beau Pribula was one of three quarterbacks expected to see action for Missouri to start the season. However, all of his competition has gotten injured over the past couple of weeks, making him the default QB1 ahead of this important game for Missouri. Pribula was a big contributor as a running quarterback option for Penn State last season. However, Pribula showed off his arm last week, going 23/28 for 283 yards and two touchdowns. He also showed what he can do with his legs, rushing for two scores. That was against really inferior competition, but it should give Pribula a lot of confidence going into this game. It could turn into a shootout with Jalon Daniels on the other sideline, and Pribula’s dual-threat abilities will be hard for Kansas to stop.
