The Cowboys are visiting the Eagles for a Thursday Night Football matchup to kick off the 2025-26 NFL season. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Philadelphia is favored by 8.5 points and the game carries a total of 47.5 points.

Saquon Barkley 120+ Rushing Yards (+238)

Barkley was the second overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft. He’s 6′, 233 pounds, runs a 4.4 40-yard dash and is ranked fifth out of 763 all-time running backs in athleticism score, per Player Profiler. Barkley rushed for 2,005 yards last season. The Eagles offensive line is rated the best per PFF entering the 2025 season. The Cowboys defense was the most porous at stopping the run last season. The stars look to be aligned.

Last season, Barkley rushed for over 100 yards 11 times. In two games against Dallas, he rushed 14 times for 66 yards and 31 times for 167 yards. In the first contest, the Eagles easily beat the Cowboys with Cooper Rush at quarterback, 34-6. The second game was no contest either, but the team consciously tried to get Barkley a record.

The game script should be favorable in this one with the Philadelphia -8.5 points. That said, I think there’s a good chance Dak Prescott and the Dallas offense put up some points, which would keep Barkley on the field.
