For the fourth straight September, the UFC is returning to the Accor Arena in Paris, France. Their previous event was a Fight Night headlined by Renato Moicano vs. Benoit Saint Denis on September 28, 2024. There are 13 fights on this card, with six fighters from France featured throughout. Four bouts are France vs. Brazil, including the Main and Co-Main Events.
The Main Event features a Middleweight bout with a ton of stakes on the line. No. 2 Nassourdine Imavov is facing No. 7 Caio Borralho, and with a big victory, the winner could get a title opportunity. Imavov is unbeaten in his previous five bouts, while Borralho hasn’t lost in his last 18 contests. Borralho is 17-0-1 in his career, with his last defeat coming in his second MMA fight in July 2015. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Imavov is a +110 underdog with Borralho being a -130 favorite.
The co-main event is an exciting Lightweight bout between No. 13 Mauricio Ruffy vs. No. 15 Benoit Saint Denis. Ruffy is undefeated in the UFC, while Saint Denis recently submitted Kyle Prepolec at UFC 315 in May. Both fighters are finishing machines, combining for 25 victories by KO/TKO or submission in their careers. Ruffy is the favorite in this contest at -166, with Saint-Denis being a +140 underdog.
No. 11 Patricio “Pitbull” Freire was originally scheduled to take on UFC debutant Losene Keita. But the bout was called off on Friday after Keita missed weight. Keita is a former three-time Oktagon MMA Champion and was one of the hottest free agents on the market before signing with the premier MMA promotion.
