MLB Best Bets: Top Home Run Props for Tuesday 9/2/25

Home runs. Long balls. Bleacher reachers. Whatever you want to call them, people love watching and betting on home run props during baseball games. So much so, we’ve got a whole article dedicated to just that.

There’s 15 games to choose from on Tuesday evening, but allow me to narrow the field down to three bets on the DraftKings Sportsbook: Tyler Soderstrom, Willy Adames and Noelvi Marte.

Top Home Run Props on DraftKings Sportsbook

Tyler Soderstrom 1+ Home Run (+475)

While Miles Mikolas has been far better pitching in St. Louis than on the road in 2025, the veteran RHP is still surrendering 1.88 home runs per nine to opposing LHBs as a whole. He’s still registering a third percentile whiff rate (17.1%) with a fourth percentile opponent barrel rate (12.0%). I truly don’t believe it matters where Mikolas is taking the mound. So long as he’s pitching, there’s a good chance that long balls are on the horizon. Nick Kurtz would be the obvious left-handed bat to back with a home run prop on Tuesday night, yet the rookie has missed the last three games with an oblique issue and doesn’t currently have odds on the DraftKings Sportsbook. I guess we’ll have to “settle” for Soderstrom, who is slashing .293/.354/.490 since the All-Star break with a 130 wRC+. Soderstrom has 23 homers coming into tonight’s action. Hopefully, by around 10:00 p.m. ET, that number now sits at 24.

Willy Adames 1+ Home Run (+300)

The Giants have struggled to do much with left-handed pitching all season long, but this isn’t your average matchup with a southpaw. San Francisco is at Coors Field to square-off with Kyle Freeland, who has pitched to an ugly 6.36 ERA at home in 2025. Freeland has also allowed opposing RHBs to combine for a jaw-dropping .359/.408/.536 slash line in the altitude, so feel free to raise your evaluations on every right-handed hitter in the Giants’ lineup this evening. That includes Willy Adames, though expectations are already likely pretty high, as the shortstop hasn’t stopped hitting home runs dating back to the beginning of July. In fact, Adames is trying to become the first San Francisco player to collect 30 long balls in a single campaign since Barry Bonds accomplished the feat in 2004. Adames has 17 homers in his last 198 at-bats. That equates out to a robust .303 ISO. He’s a very dangerous man at the moment.

Noelvi Marte 1+ Home Run (+400)

The Reds actually have the second-fewest long balls since the All-Star break (33), so this isn’t generally a team I’m hunting home run props with. That said, the concept of Jose Berrios pitching at Great American Ball Park is quite tempting. Since the beginning of the 2022 season, only three pitchers have surrendered at least 100 home runs: Patrick Corbin, the aforementioned Miles Mikolas and Berrios — who has conceded an MLB-high 107. Specific to 2025, Berrios has had his issues with RHBs, giving up a 1.79 opponent long balls per nine within the split. Noelvi Marte is right-handed. Noelvi Marte also possesses a .216 ISO and a 124 wRC+ across 267 plate appearances this season. It’s taken some time, but the 23-year-old is finally starting to break out and he’s easily Cincinnati’s top threat to go deep on Tuesday evening.
