UPDATE: The game has resumed, and Junior Caminero has now hit his second home run of the night.
In the 7th inning of Monday’s matchup between the Rays and Guardians, the game entered into a delay due to rain.
The Rays are in control of this one at the time of the delay, leading the game 5-0. They’ve out-hit Cleveland 8-1 and are on track to get their third consecutive win. Ian Seymour had a terrific outing for Tampa Bay, only allowing one hit and one walk in five innings while striking out eight batters. The game was tied heading into the fourth inning before the Rays opened the scoring with two runs. They then hit home runs in the 5th and 7th innings through Junior Caminero and Yandy Díaz, respectively.
