What happened to Brice Turang? Live injury updates for Brewers vs. Giants 8/23/25

The Brewers scratched Brice Turang from today’s lineup against the Giants. He was initially slated to play second base tonight, but instead will get the day off.

The 25-year-old was hit by a pitch last night and is dealing with a wrist injury as a result. Manager Pat Murphy labeled Turang as “touch and go” earlier today.

The injury doesn’t seem too significant since Turang was initially in the lineup and was swinging in the cage today.

Caleb Durbin will start at second tonight in Turang’s absence.
