MLB Best Bets Today: Three-leg moneyline parlay for Wednesday 8/20/25

Who’s up for a little Wednesday MLB moneyline parlay?

There are 10 baseball games getting going past 6:30 p.m. ET this evening, and I have a couple leans on the DraftKings Sportsbook. Let’s break down down everything you’ll need to know.

Today’s Three-Leg Moneyline MLB Parlay

  • Marlins ML (-126)
  • Dodgers ML (-327)
  • Mets ML (-173)

MLB Moneyline Parlay Odds: +272

Marlins Moneyline (-126)

The Marlins have dropped nine of their last 11 games, which usually doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence in prospective bettors. However, Sandy Alcantara is coming off one of his best starts of the season, holding the Red Sox to just one earned run over six innings last week. Alcantara also possesses a 3.90 FIP when pitching at LoanDepot Park this season, which is where tonight’s tilt is taking place. On the other side, Andre Pallante sports a 7.60 ERA over his past seven starts and the Cardinals have mustered MLB’s lowest ISO in the month of August (.115). St. Louis is not exactly an imposing opponent at the moment, especially with Nolan Arenado and Brendan Donovan on the IL.

Dodgers Moneyline (-327)

I know. I feel pretty gross about including a -327 favorite on this MLB moneyline parlay, but it is difficult to envision the Dodgers losing this contest. Especially as it now seems like Shohei Ohtani is back to (almost?) 100% health on the mound. Ohtani did allow four earned runs in his last start against the Angels, but the big news from that performance was the reigning NL MVP hitting the 80 pitch plateau. Ohtani’s only thrown 23.1 innings in 2025, yet he’s done so with a 2.13 FIP, a 2.26 xERA and a 33.3% strikeout rate. The concept of a pitcher like that with no limitations is tantalizing, right? So is the concept of him facing the team with the worst record and wRC+ (78) in baseball. Remember, Tanner Gordon also has to pitch at Coors Field on Wednesday. It’s not like Ohtani’s alone out there.

Mets Moneyline (-173)

A week ago, it was nothing but doom and gloom for the Mets. However, the team comes into Wednesday’s tilt with the Nationals having won its last three games. The better news? It’ll be sending ace Kodai Senga to the mound this evening. You could certainly make the case that Senga’s been a little lucky in 2025. He’s benefitted from a .251 BABIP and an 84.7% strand rate — especially considering Senga’s inflated 11.6% walk rate. Still, at the end of the day, Senga possesses a 2.35 ERA across 99.2 innings. He’s conceded two earned runs or fewer in 15 of his 19 outings. In layman’s terms: When Senga starts, New York has a pretty great chance to win. Certainly doesn’t hurt that the Nationals rank 27th in wRC+ (90) since the All-Star break, either.
