Braves at Mets game delayed due to rain Wednesday 8/13/25

UPDATE: The game will start at 8:45 p.m. ET.

The start of tonight’s matchup between the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets has been delayed due to rain.

The game was initially scheduled for a 7:10 p.m. ET start. It’s unclear when the game will get underway once the rain has ended. The forecast calls for the rain to end around 8:00, so an hour-long delay is a reasonable expectation.

Carlos Carrasco (2-2, 6.18 ERA) is scheduled to take the mound for the Braves against David Peterson (7-5, 2.98 ERA) for the Mets. We’ll make sure to update you when we have a new start time.
