Jordan Love is 2-for-2 in earning the Packers a playoff berth as Green Bay’s starting quarterback. But, they did not win the division either season. While their record improved from 2023 to 2024, they also finished third in a very crowded NFC North last season.
The Lions lost their Offensive Coordinator to Chicago. The Vikings had a bit of restructuring of their own. The Bears may have a new head coach, but…they’re still the Bears.
Point is: The Packers winning the division is very much in play.
Packers Win Total
Given everything said above, the action on Green Bay’s Win Total is not what Packers fans want to see. The win total itself is 9.5 like last season. Despite that being a number the Packers exceeded last season, the over isn’t the sharp play.
The over has seen 79% of the bets placed on Green Bay’s Win Total market. However, those have only accounted for 68% of the handle. That lack of confidence could be in part the result of the Packers going 2-6 straight-up and ATS vs. playoff teams last season.
Looking to some of the playoffs-related markets, Green Bay’s odds have mostly shortened across the board — although, incrementally:
- Super Bowl: +2000 in 2024; +2000 in 2025
- Conference Winner: +1000 in 2024; +900 in 2025
- Division Winner: +240 in 2024; +225 in 2025
- To Make the Playoffs: -190 in 2024; -135 in 2025
While Green Bay’s -135 odds in the To Make the Playoffs market aren’t the flashiest, that’s a pretty reasonable mark considering the Packers made the playoffs the last two seasons. With most divisional favorites having much shorter odds than Green Bay’s, this presents bettors with a nice option from a value perspective. Yet, the Packers are the 13th-most bet team in this market. Yes, top half of the league, but this feels like it should be a smidge higher.
Notable Player Prop Splits
Love, Josh Jacobs, Matthew Golden and Tucker Kraft all have at least one season-long player prop available on DraftKings Sportsbook. Unfortunately for Packers fans, it doesn’t seem like the sharps are high on the numbers being set for Green Bay’s playmakers.
- Love’s Regular Season Passing Yards prop is 3600.5. The under has seen 42% of the handle on 15% of the bets.
- Love’s Regular Season Passing TDs prop is 25.5. The over has taken in 63% of the handle on 91% of the bets.
- Golden’s Regular Season Receiving Yards prop is 700.5. On just 13% of the bets, the under has seen 63% of the handle.
- Jacobs’ Regular Season Rushing Yards total is 1050.5. The over has seen 91% of the handle on 97% of the bets.
- Jacobs’ Regular Season Rushing TDs total is 9.5. On 98% of the bets, the over has seen 90% of the handle.
- Kraft’s Regular Season Receiving Yards total is 625.5. The over has seen 76% of the handle, but on 95% of the bets.
Not a single sharp lean to the over on any of these props. Of the bunch, Love’s passing yards prop has the best under splits — with the under on Golden’s receiving yards prop being up next.
But for all this talk of unders, Jacobs does rank second in handle in the Most Regular Season Rushing Touchdowns market.
