The 2025 MLB season is headed into its final stretch. There are far more ways to get involved in the action than just via traditional betting. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Baseball!
Here are my top Pick6 plays for today’s MLB slate.
Ernie Clement More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Ernie Clement has been one of the best hitters in baseball against left-handed pitching this season. Clement is having a good season overall, with a 2.2 WAR at this point in the season. However, against lefties, he has been on another level. He is batting .350 against lefties, the third-best among qualified hitters. He isn’t typically a great power hitter, but he ranks in the top-10 in the MLB in OPS and wRC+ against lefties. He is facing left-handed Royals starter Noah Cameron today. It has been a solid season for the rookie starter, but Clement should be able to get on base against him. With the bats around him in the lineup, he should also be able to generate an RBI or score a run.
Mark Vientos More Than 0.5 Hits
Mark Vientos has been the Mets’ best hitter over the past two weeks. He is on a 10-game hitting streak heading into today’s game against the Giants. During that 10-game stretch, he is batting .343 with an .847 OPS. He has six RBIs in his past five games and has been able to generate power as well. Kai-Wei Teng is making his first appearance of the 2025 season. In his rookie year in 2024, Teng made four total appearances for the Giants. He pitched only 11 innings and had a 9.82 ERA. Teng is inexperienced and is unlikely to go longer than a couple of innings in this game. Vientos and the rest of the Mets should hit him hard off the bat. That will leave the Giants in a tough situation to stretch out this bullpen game. Vientos should be able to extend his hitting streak to 11 games.
Matt Chapman More Than 0.5 RBIs
Matt Chapman is having another solid season at the plate, with a .787 OPS and a 3.3 WAR, making him a top-50 player in baseball by that metric. Chapman will be one of the only people excited to see Kodai Senga today. Senga has been fantastic throughout his career with the Mets, despite struggling to stay on the field with injuries. However, Chapman has been one of the only hitters in baseball with great success against Senga. Chapman has five career plate appearances against Senga, and he has a walk, a double and two home runs in four of those five battles. Chapman has been significantly better on the road this season, with a .278 batting average and an .892 OPS away from San Francisco. He has 11 RBIs in his past 11 games and has a great chance to register another one today.
Andrew McCutchen More Than 1.5 Total Bases
Andrew McCutchen is still contributing for the Pirates at 38 years old. He is batting .249 with 11 home runs and 39 RBIs on the season. He has been particularly strong against left-handed pitchers, as he will see in Colorado today against Austin Gomber. He is batting .301 with a .795 OPS against lefties this season. He has a great chance to rack up an extra-base hit against the Rockies’ lefty. Gomber has a 6.28 ERA on the season and is allowing an opponent OPS of 1.048 at Coors Field this season. McCutchen should hit Gomber hard and get over 1.5 total bases.

Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
