The MLB Trade Deadline just shook up rosters yesterday and the players involved debut on the diamond for their new teams this evening. With 11 games on the table at 7 p.m. EST or later to choose from, we’re taking a look at a top three-leg Moneyline parlay for MLB bettors to consider on Friday night. Let’s dive in below!
Today’s Three-Leg Moneyline MLB Parlay

HOU Astros Moneyline (-132)
The Astros have struggled some as of late while they weathered injuries to All-Stars Jeremy Pena and Isaac Paredes, and they deployed a rotating cast of borderline-MLBers in the outfield as well. Now, reinforcements are here as Pena returns at shortstop joined by Trade Deadline acquisitions Jesus Sanchez in left field and Carlos Correa at third base. After dealing with a lineup in flux, they’re slowly getting healthier and the additions of Sanchez and their own former star Correa should provide a huge boost moving forward. Ace Hunter Brown (2.54 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 149 SO) takes the mound tonight looking to shake off a recent cold streak against Boston’s righty Cooper Criswell (5.06 ERA, 1.78 WHIP, five SO) in a spot-start. Watch for the Astros to bounce back against the Red Sox in the early window.
LA Dodgers Moneyline (-132)
The Dodgers haven’t exactly looked like a dominant team since the All-Star Game, going 5-7 since the season resumed and only winning two series against the Twins and Reds. Still, Los Angeles has plenty of stars in the lineup and enter a bounce-back opportunity this evening against a Rays squad that’s won just one game out of their last eight outings. Tampa Bay’s batting average is the third-worst since the break at just .227 and they rank 22nd in OPS as well. The Dodgers start Clayton Kershaw (3.62 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, 39 SO) against fellow righty Shane Baz (4.61 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, 116 SO), so it’s a fairly average pitching matchup for both teams. With Jonathan Aranda headed to IL, I’m banking on the Rays to drop another game as their spiral continues against the Dodgers.
SD Padres Moneyline (-199)
Finally we look toward the West Coast for some late-slate action. The Padres spent a haul of prospects at the Trade Deadline but brought in proven talent in Mason Miller, Ryan O’Hearn and Ramon Laureano, all of whom immediately make this a much better team. Miller’s elite velocity brings some more punch to a solid pitching staff while O’Hearn and Laureano both provide some offensive firepower San Diego truly needed, so things are looking up heading into the home stretch of the season. The Padres face the Cardinals tonight, a team with a 4-9 record since the All-Star period, so Nick Pivetta (2.81 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, 131 SO) shouldn’t have too much trouble beating out lefty Matthew Liberatore (4.04 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 83 SO).
