The NASCAR Cup Series Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis is on Sunday and DraftKings is offering a new way to play fantasy NASCAR. The game is simple. Build a “Pick Set” (2+ drivers) and decide if they will outperform their stat projections. Here is some advice to help build your DraftKings Pick6 Pick Sets for the NASCAR Cup Series Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis.
Joey Logano: Finishing Position – 12.5
Pick6 Play: Better
It’s hard to trust practice and qualifying times at Indianapolis. The Gen-7 car has leveled the playing field. At some tracks, driver skill still makes a significant difference, but that’s not the case at most tracks, and definitely not at Indy. This race will likely be determined by when the caution flag flies and whether fuel mileage strategies pay off.
Who can win? The best indicator is past performance in similar circumstances. Logano was on track for a top-10 finish, and possibly a win, at Indy last season until a Stage 3 restart wreck took him out. He finished 10th and second in the previous two Indy races in 2020 and 2019, respectively. At Pocono, he finished 16th and fifth last season. These stats aren’t exceptional, but he doesn’t need to be exceptional. He doesn’t even need a top-10 finish to contend.
Chase Elliott: Fantasy Points – 55.5
Pick6 Play: More
The No. 9 needs to finish ninth to meet this target. In his last three races at Indy, Elliott has finished 10th, 11th and ninth. In his last four races at Pocono, he’s finished fifth, ninth, 10th and third. He’s earned a top-10 finish in five of his last six races and was the highest-rated driver at Dover last season.
Qualifying didn’t go well, but it doesn’t matter. The field will get shuffled. What matters is how a driver responds once the shuffling happens. There’s a reason Elliott is leading the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series standings: when it’s time to race, Elliott delivers.

In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
