NFL training camps have arrived and football is right around the corner. With it comes all the action on the gridiron and in betting slips. DraftKings Sportsbook is constantly rolling out new markets with new ways to back whatever teams and players you desire. At the top of the list of popularity are parlays.
This article will break down how to build an NFL parlay ahead of the 2025 season. There continue to be more creative ways to build these types of bets that emerge, but this article will look at the specifics of the multi-game style of parlays.
How to build an NFL parlay in 2025
What are parlays?
A parlay is when a bet is placed that combines two or more bets into one wager. Rather than it being dependent on one specific result, every leg must hit for the wager to cash. If one of the legs does not hit, the bet is not successful.
This inherently carries more risk, but the payout increases at a variable rate depending on which bets you choose. This can involve spreads, Moneylines, game totals or individual players’ statistics. You simply log onto DraftKings Sportsbook, select all the bets that you wish to add and the sportsbook does the math for what the odds will be.
Building NFL parlays
All odds are live for the NFL season, so you can already begin putting together parlays ahead of the season’s kickoff. You can also check out the most popular parlays on DK Network to see which bets are catching other users’ eyes.
However, you can create just about whatever parlay you desire. For example, looking at the Week 1 odds on DraftKings Sportsbook, I like both Super Bowl teams to return with a vengeance. The odds are set at -110 for the Philadelphia Eagles to cover the seven-point spread against the Dallas Cowboys and -110 for the Kansas City Chiefs to cover the -2.5 spread against the Los Angeles Chargers. When the two are combined, the odds jump to +264.
If we want to take a bigger swing, I like the Jets to upset the Steelers (+124 odds on the Moneyline), the Falcons to upset the Buccaneers (+110 on the Moneyline), and for the Packers vs. Lions matchup to go over the 48.5-point total. When parlaying these three bets, the odds jump to +798 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Another popular type of parlay on DraftKings is an anytime touchdown parlay. You can bet on each player individually to score a touchdown but adding a few players from multiple games can create an extremely lucrative payout if you play the field correctly. Looking at the Week 1 odds for an example of this, I am adding Jalen Hurts (-130), Ladd McConkey (+145), Amon-Ra St. Brown (+120) and Josh Allen (-110) to each score a touchdown. Individually, none of these bets holds a value above +145, but combined, this touchdown parlay holds +1720 odds. It should be noted that anytime touchdowns include rushing and receiving scores but not passing touchdowns, so Josh Allen would have to reach the end zone himself for this parlay to cash.
It should also be noted that some markets cannot be combined, and odds are always subject to change.
