Thursday night presents a three-game WNBA slate. Below, I have featured three of my favorite WNBA player prop bets for Thursday on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Kelsey Plum O 17.5 Points (-135)
This line is far too low for Plum on Thursday. The All-Star is averaging 19.7 PPG with 25.3% usage rate this season, and Plum is facing the Sun on Thursday, which is the best possible matchup she could ask for. Connecticut is a league-worst 3-19, and the club ranks dead last in defensive rating this season.
Opponents are shooting the ball at a league-best 46.4% clip when facing the Sun. In Plum’s lone matchup with Connecticut this season, which took place earlier this month, she shot 8-of-14 from the field, en route to 23 points. The Sparks are a six-point favorite over the Sun on DraftKings Sportsbook. In wins this season, Plum is averaging 20.4 PPG.
Natasha Howard O 5.5 Rebounds (-154)
Howard is averaging 6.6 rebounds per game this season, and Caitlin Clark’s (out, groin) absence is a boost for Howard as a rebounder. In the 12 games Clark has missed this season, Clark has been even better on the glass, leading the Fever with 7.3 rebounds per game.
Howard has topped 5.5 rebounds in eight of these 12 games, including a 10-rebound outing against the Aces, who she will face again Thursday. Howard has notched double-digit rebounds four times with Clark inactive, and she should have no issues clearing 5.5 rebounds tonight.
Rachel Banham U 2.5 Made Three Pointers (-130)
Facing the Storm, Banham is a strong bet for under 2.5 made three pointers. The guard is averaging 2.0 made three pointers per game this season and this is a difficult matchup, as Seattle ranks fifth in defensive rating and the club is giving up the fourth-fewest made three pointers this season.
This matchup between the Sky and Storm carries the lowest total of Thursday’s three-game slate at 155.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook, and Banham should stay under 2.5 made three pointers in this likely low scoring affair.
