The new UFC Undisputed Heavyweight Champion, Tom Aspinall, will make his first title defense against Ciryl Gane at UFC 321 on October 25 in Abu Dhabi. Aspinall won the Interim Title against Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295 in November 2023 and followed it up with another knockout against Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304 in July 2024.
The Champion is a -298 favorite, as Gane is +240 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Gane has gone 2-3 since beating Derrick Lewis in 2021 for the Interim title. He has won his previous two bouts against Serghei Spivac and Alexander Volkov. This will be Gane’s first fight in the last 10 months (December 2024).
Aspinall is 15-3 in his MMA career and has won all of his contests by KO/TKO or submission. He is 9-1 in the UFC with eight first-round finishes. Aspinall was crowned Undisputed Champion after Jon Jones announced his retirement in June.
