At UFC 316 in June, Merab Dvalishvili successfully defended his UFC Bantamweight Championship for the second time, submitting Sean O’Malley in the third round. He remains among the most active fighters in the sport and will defend his title for the third time against Cory Sandhagen at UFC 320 in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 4. Magomed Ankalaev is defending his Light Heavyweight Championship against Alex Pereira in the Main Event of this card.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Dvalishvili is a -380 favorite with Sandhagen being the +300 underdog.

Sandhagen is coming off a victory via KO/TKO against former 125-pound champion Deiveson Figueiredo in May. Sandhagen has won four of his previous five fights. His lone opportunity at UFC gold was an interim title fight against Petr Yan at UFC 267 in October 2021. Yan defeated Sandhagen by unanimous decision in that bout.

Dvalishvili has won 13 straight fights and hasn’t suffered a loss since his second fight in the UFC in 2018. Currently, Dvalishvili is tied with Khabib Nurmagomedov, Georges St. Pierre, Max Holloway, and Demetrious Johnson for the fourth-longest UFC winning streak. He is three wins away from tying Anderson Silva for the second most consecutive victories with 16. If Dvalishvili can beat Sandhagen, he would tie Aljamain Sterling and Dominick Cruz for the second most UFC Bantamweight title wins (4).
