Home runs. Long balls. Bleacher reachers. Whatever you want to call them, people love watching and betting on home runs during baseball games. So much so, we’ve got a whole article dedicated to just that.
With all 30 teams in action on Tuesday, here are my top three picks on the DraftKings Sportsbook to go deep tonight in MLB.
Top Home Run Props on DraftKings Sportsbook
Kyle Manzardo 1+ Home Run (+390)
It’s been far from a perfect season for Kyle Manzardo, who is hitting .219 and has an OBP below .300, but goodness does the 25-year-old possess some raw power. In 308 plate appearances in 2025, Manzardo has hit 16 home runs and sports a .234 ISO. For some context, that figure puts Manzardo just outside the top 20 among the 159 qualified hitters in the league. Still, I’d be lying if I said that Manzardo was the main draw for this prop. That would be Brandon Young. Fresh off of conceding four home runs in just 4.1 innings of work against the Marlins, Young has now surrendered 2.39 opponent long balls per nine across his six career starts at the MLB level. An 11.8% opponent barrel rate and 49.4% opponent hard hit rate don’t suggest that this has simply been bad luck for the rookie, either. Expect another rocky outing from Young on Tuesday and for Manzardo to be a huge reason why.
Taylor Ward 1+ Home Run (+380)
Frankie Montas will start tonight’s game against the Angels. All Montas has done in 2025 is give up home runs. All Los Angeles has done in 2025 is hit home runs. Seems like a match made in heaven, right? The RHP has only been able to make four appearances for the Mets this season, but Montas is already surrendering 1.83 opponent long balls per nine. Let us also not forget Montas’ ill-fated rehab assignment, where the veteran conceded a jaw-dropping 10 home runs over only 18.2 innings across both High-A and Triple-A. Woof. Meanwhile, Ward is red-hot at the moment, with six extra-base hits in the Angels’ four games since the All-Star break. In general, Ward’s been one of the best hitter’s in the American League if you discount an awful beginning in March and April. Since May 1, the 31-year-old owns a .285 ISO and a 136 wRC+ in 307 plate appearances. Not too shabby.
Seiya Suzuki 1+ Home Run (+285)
There was no way I was getting through this whole article without picking at least one guy to hit a home run off of Rich Hill, who will be making his debut for the Royals on Tuesday evening. I’m not even sure if “crafty” is a strong enough word at this point to describe Hill. What I do know is that the veteran southpaw is 45-years-old and, in nine starts at Triple-A in 2025, Hill was surrendering 1.93 opponent home runs per nine. Sounds about right for the only player currently in baseball that is a member of Generation X. For his part, Suzuki has been fantastic against LHPs this season, sporting a .282 ISO and a 150 wRC+ within the split. For the year as a whole, Suzuki also owns a 97th percentile barrel rate (18.4%) and a 90th percentile expected slugging rate (.539). He’s quite good.
