What happened to Freddie Freeman? Live injury updates for Brewers vs. Dodgers 7/20/25

In the sixth inning of Sunday’s game vs. the Brewers, 1B Freddie Freeman took a pitch to the hand/wrist area and left the game. The Dodgers are calling the injury a left wrist contusion.

In his absence, Miguel Rojas moved to 1B and Hyeseong Kim entered the game at 2B. This injury comes at a tough time for the Dodgers as they have lost two in a row while also losing Sunday’s game 6-4 at the time of the injury. Before exiting, the All-Star was struck out twice in two at-bats.
