TNA Wrestling hosts its most significant event of the year, Slammiversary, on Long Island Sunday night. However, this year, it has grown even larger. Five Championship matches are featured on the card, with the return of five-time TNA World Champion AJ Styles scheduled to take place at the event.
Since TNA began its partnership with WWE at the start of 2025, it has experienced significant growth. In a shocking and unprecedented move, former NXT Champion Trick Williams defeated Joe Hendry for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at NXT Battleground on May 25. Hendry beat Nic Nemeth for the title at the start of the year and held it for 183 days. Throughout the past year, Hendry has become a global superstar, wrestling at WrestleMania and the Royal Rumble in 2025.

TNA World Championship Match
(C) Trick Williams vs. Mike Santana vs. Joe Hendry
The highly anticipated Main Event of Slammiversary is a triple threat for the biggest prize in TNA. Williams is one of 10 wrestlers to win the TNA and NXT Championship. Since winning the title, Williams has helped elevate TNA as a whole.
Former Champion Hendry is looking to get revenge on Williams, while Santana is trying to win his first TNA Championship. For many years, Santana was in a tag team with Ortiz and competed in TNA and AEW. But since returning to TNA as a singles star in 2024, his career has blossomed. Even though it would be a great feel-good story if Hendry or Santana won, Williams’ retaining is the best option for TNA moving forward.
Prediction: Trick Williams defeats Mike Santana & Joe Hendry to retain his title.
TNA Knockouts World Championship & NXT Women’s Championship Match
(C) Masha Slamovich vs. (C) Jacey Jayne
Slamovich has had a dominant reign as Knockouts Champion and now will look to make history. She is facing NXT Women’s Champion Jayne in a winner-takes-all match. Jayne defeated Vaquer on May 27 in an unlikely victory. With an NXT wrestler winning the TNA Championship with Williams, I think now is the time for a member of TNA to win an NXT title.
Prediction: Masha Slamovich defeats Jacey Jayne to become NXT Women’s Champion and TNA Knockouts World Champion.
TNA X Division Championship Match
(C) Moose vs. Leon Slater
Moose is in his first reign as X Division Champion and has held the title since October 2024. He has had nine successful title defenses and hasn’t lost a singles match since he won the championship. Now he will face the 20-year-old, Slater, who has been in TNA since 2023 and has won four straight singles matches. Although Slater has been on a great run, Moose’s power will likely be too much for the rising star.
Prediction: Moose defeats Leon Slater to retain his title.
TNA World Tag Team Championship Match
(C) The Nemeths vs. The Hardys vs. The Rascalz vs. First Class
This four-way Tag Team match is a ladder match, which the Hardys have a history with. Matt and Jeff Hardy are three-time TNA Tag Team Champions and most recently held the titles from October to April. This week, they hinted that if they can’t get the job done on Sunday, their illustrious careers could be coming to an end soon. This has the potential to be the best match on the card, with four dynamic teams that all have history with one another.
Prediction: The Hardys become four-time TNA World Tag Team Champions.
TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship Match
(C) The Elegance Brand vs. The IInspiration
The Elegance Brand has been on a good run in TNA and has won seven straight matches. Meanwhile, The IInspiration is 2-0 in TNA this year. With The Elegance Brand growing stronger as a team, another big victory should be in their future.
Prediction: The Elegance Brand defeats The IInspiration to retain their titles.
Singles Match
Mustafa Ali vs. Cedric Alexander
In WWE, Ali and Alexander spent time teaming together but have never faced off in a one-on-one match. Ali joined TNA in 2024, while Alexander made his debut in the promotion in June. Ali has been on a great run recently, and although Alexander will give him a tough match, I don’t see Ali losing here.
Prediction: Mustafa Ali defeats Cedric Alexander.
Singles Match
Tessa Blanchard vs. Indi Hartwell
Blanchard is a former Knockouts Champion and has been a vital part of TNA since returning to the company in December 2024. Since returning, Blanchard has gone 6-1 in singles competition, with her only defeat coming to current Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich.
Hartwell debuted for the promotion in April at Rebellion after five years with the WWE. Coming into this match, Hartwell is undefeated in three singles matches in TNA. Blanchard is the bigger star and likely will make another push at the Knockouts title in the future, with this being a perfect opportunity for her to get back there.
Prediction: Tessa Blanchard defeats Indi Hartwell.
