The first round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs continues Tuesday, which will bring us another batch of Game 2s. With three games on the docket, there’s plenty of opportunities to find good value plays for your lineups in DFS.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Naz Reid, Timberwolves, $4,800
Reid checks in at just below the value line as the Timberwolves try to take a 2-0 lead on the Suns tonight. The services of the Sixth Man of the Year candidate weren’t needed that much during Game 1 on Saturday as Minnesota held firm control throughout the second half. He still delivered a nice performance, registering 12 points, two rebounds, and two assists in 19 minutes, earning 20.5 fantasy points in DFS. I expect Phoenix to make this a more competitive contest tonight, meaning Reid should be in line for more minutes off the bench down the stretch. I’d carve out a lineup spot for him.
T.J. McConnell, Pacers, $4,600
The Pacers are trying to bounce back after their loss to the Bucks in Game 1 and will try to avoid going down 0-2. McConnell ended up being the top contributor off the bench for Indiana in Sunday’s setback, putting up 10 points, two rebounds, and one assists in 18 minutes, delivering just 13 fantasy points for DFS users. His assists are what made him a value asset throughout the regular season as he averaged 5.5 per game. If he’s able to set his teammates up for good looks in this contest, then he’ll definitely be worth inserting into your lineup.
Terance Mann, Clippers, $4,100
Mann was able to put forth a strong outing on Sunday as the Clippers rolled the Mavericks in Game 1 of their series. The guard logged 39 minutes for Los Angeles in the victory, putting up 13 points, nine rebounds, and two assists to earn 28.25 fantasy points. He went 3-3 from deep in the contest and that combined with his rebounding is something that the Clips will want to tap into if they want to go up 2-0 in this series.
