Mets at Royals game delayed due to rain Friday 7/11/25

UPDATE: Mets at Royals is now expected to start at 9:30 p.m. EST.

The start of Friday evening’s matchup between the New York Mets and Kansas City Royals has been delayed due to rain.

First pitch was initially scheduled for 7:10 p.m. EST but inclement weather in the area will prevent the contest from starting on time. The new start time has not yet been announced.

The Mets are -131 favorites on the Moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook while the Royals are +108 home underdogs. The run total sits at 9.5.

Right-hander Michael Wacha (3.83 ERA, 1.29 WHIP) starts for Kansas City against New York’s Kodai Senga (1.47 ERA, 1.11 WHP), another righty making his first start following a stint on the IL with a hamstring issue.
