The final for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is set, as Chelsea and PSG will battle it out at MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
These teams have reached the final in two very different ways, with PSG dominating against multiple European giants while Chelsea have received a favorable pathway to the final. All of that doesn’t matter anymore, however, as both teams are now potentially 90 minutes away from the trophy.
Below is my favorite bet on DraftKings Sportsbook for this Sunday’s final.
PSG Moneyline (-160)
PSG opening at -160 odds on the moneyline at DraftKings Sportsbook is actually quite a shock to me. Considering the 4-0 dominant win over Real Madrid in the semi-final on Wednesday, I would’ve thought their odds would be a lot worse. I’m not sure how long it’ll last at this price, but I will certainly be taking it while I still can.
Their loss to Botafogo in the group stage seems like an outlier. In this tournament, they have beaten Atletico Madrid 4-0, Bayern Munich 2-0 and now Real Madrid 4-0. The French side have scored 16 goals while only conceding one.
They have won 10 of their last 11 games in all competitions, and that includes wins over Arsenal and Inter Milan on their way to winning the Champions League. The group stage loss was an anomaly, and without a doubt, we are looking at the best team on the planet right now, and by some margin. This is a team coming off winning a treble, and now they are ninety minutes away from a Club World Cup trophy.
Chelsea will defend deep and look to counter, but I’m not sure they have enough quality to keep up with a PSG team that is smashing every big European Club that is put in their way. I expect the Parisians to win this one with ease inside of the ninety minutes.
