Best Collin Morikawa prop bet for the Genesis Scottish Open

The Renaissance Club (par 70, 7,237 yards, fescue greens) in North Berwick, Scotland is hosting the Genesis Scottish Open this week. There will be 156 golfers competing, with half from the PGA TOUR and half the DP World TOUR, and a standard top-65 and ties cut after the first two rounds.

DraftKings Sportsbook offers O/U bets for golfer’s tournament finishing positions and below, I have featured one of my favorite bets for this market for the Genesis Scottish Open.

Collin Morikawa Under 27.5 Finishing Position (-120)

Morikawa has made 2-of-3 cuts at the Renaissance Club and he finished T4th at the venue last season, including a 5-under 65 in the first round. While Morikawa has yet to win this season, he is in the midst of another awesome campaign on the PGA TOUR. Morikawa hasn’t missed a cut in 13 solo starts and he has finished lower than 27.5 place at 10 of these events, including a T8 at the Rocket Classic in his last start.

Morikawa ranks seventh in total strokes and per usual, his ball striking has been outstanding, with the 28-year-old ranking second in SGT2G and fifth in SG APP this season. As a former Open Championship winner, Morikawa is no stranger to contending on European soil and this 27.5-place line just too high for him. Morikawa carries the fifth-best odds to win the Genesis Scottish Open at +2500 on DraftKings Sportsbook and he should comfortably finish lower than 27.5 place this week.
