Here are my top Pick6 plays for today’s special 4th of July MLB slate.
Juan Soto More Than 0.5 Home Runs (Promo Pick)
Juan Soto is coming off one of the best months of his career at the plate. In 27 games in June, Soto batted .322 with 11 home runs, 20 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He is once again looking like one of the best hitters in baseball and should be excited to face his former team this weekend in the Subway Series. The Mets were on a horrific run that saw their big NL East lead slip away. The Yankees went on a similar run that has them in second place in the AL East. However, the Mets did find some positive momentum by winning a series against Milwaukee heading into this weekend. Marcus Stroman is making his second start since returning from a long IL stint. He gave up one run in five innings in his first start back, but that was against the Athletics at home. Against the Mets at Citi Field, Stroman will be under much more pressure and Soto will have a great chance to punish him. Soto is batting .300 with a home run in his career against Stroman and has a great chance to hit another one today.
Pete Crow-Armstrong More Than 1.5 Total Bases
Pete Crow-Armstrong was announced as a National League All-Star starter after his phenomenal start to the season. Crow-Armstrong is tied for second in the MLB in WAR, and ranks inside the top ten in home runs, RBIs, runs scored and total bases. Today, Crow-Armstrong gets to face off against Miles Mikolas, a player whom he has crushed in the past. Mikolas has really struggled this season, sporting a 4.76 ERA in 2025. He is coming off an awful start where he gave up six earned runs against Cleveland. In Crow-Armstrong’s career against Mikolas, he is 3/4 with a double and two home runs. He has owned him in the past, and should clear 1.5 total bases against him again today.
Mookie Betts More Than 0.5 Hits
Mookie Betts is having another good season in Los Angeles. By Mookie Betts’ standards, his numbers aren’t quite up to par, but he still has a 2.5 WAR and is a threat at the plate. Betts will hope to find some pop in his bat tonight against Lance McCullers Jr. McCullers is having an awful year, with a 6.61 ERA heading into this game. Betts has also been great against McCullers in the past. In his 15 career at-bats against McCullers, he has seven hits. Betts should be able to pick up a hit against McCullers tonight and get his season back on track.

Create a Pick Set
Create a Pick Set by choosing two or more players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you cannot pick the same player twice and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
