UPDATE: Contreras is considered day-to-day and his X-rays were negative.
Willson Contreras exited Tuesday’s game vs. the Pirates in the 4th inning. There is no mention of what the injury is, but he was hit by a pitch on the hand earlier in the game.
Before exiting, he had no stats recorded in one trip to the plate. On the season, he has 75 hits, 51 RBIs and 11 homers.
