Friday evening’s matchup between the San Diego Padres and Cincinnati Reds will be delayed briefly due to rain. The game was initially scheduled for a 7:10 p.m. EST start but will now begin at 7:20 p.m. EST instead following a brief delay.
The ten-minute delay isn’t too bad, but reports indicate the rain is coming down hard in Cincinnati. Further delays are possible if the rain doesn’t let up soon. There must be a buffer period for things to dry off before they can throw out the first pitch.
DraftKings Sportsbook lists the Padres as -126 favorites on the Moneyline with the run total set at nine.
