The WNBA season continues with a two-game slate Thursday. The Fever are hosting the Sparks, and the Aces are hosting the Mystics. Below, I have featured three of my favorite DFS targets for tonight’s two-game slate.

F Natasha Howard, Indiana Fever vs. Los Angeles Sparks, $6,700

With Caitlin Clark (groin) out tonight, Howard is an excellent target. In the five games Clark has missed this season, Howard is amassing 21.8 FPTS in 23.2 minutes per game. With Clark off the floor this season, Howard’s usage rises 2.4 percentage points to 25.1%, which ranks second for the Fever, only trailing Kelsey Mitchell.

The Sparks rank third in pace and third-to-last in defensive rating this season, and in this juicy matchup, Howard easily has a ceiling over 30 FPTS.

F Shakira Austin, Washington Mystics at Las Vegas Aces, $9,600

Austin was moved into the Mystics’ starting lineup four games ago and the 24-year-old has been outstanding with the starting role. In these past four, Austin is producing 40.1 FPTS in 29.3 minutes per game with a team-high 27.9% usage rate. During this stretch, Washington has gone 3-1, including an impressive win over the Lynx. Given the Mystic’s success with Austin starting and handling a featured role, she should continue to garner a huge workload tonight, especially if Brittney Sykes (questionable, leg) misses her second in a row.

With Sykes off the floor this season, Austin’s usage increases 3.1 percentage points to 30.1%. Nonetheless, Austin is a worthwhile spend even if Sykes suits up and Austin’s impressive run should continue in this compelling matchup against the Aces. Las Vegas is playing it’s second game in two nights and this season, the Aces rank fourth-to-last in defensive rating.

G, Sydney Colson, Indiana Fever vs. Los Angeles Sparks, $4,100

Just like Howard, Colson benefits with Clark out. In the five games Clark has missed this season, Colson started in place of Clark and Colson scored at least 13 FPTS in three of these five games. The veteran is averaging 20 minutes per game with Clark out and as noted above, this is an awesome matchup for Indiana, with the Sparks ranking third in pace and third-to-last in defensive rating.

Colson is supplying 0.6 FPTS per minute this season and while not an exciting option, she is the best punt play on the slate at this cheap salary $4,100 salary, that will allow you to fit multiple studs into your lineup.
