Tuesday’s MLB slate remains a busy one with 12 games to choose from when making DraftKings DFS lineups. Many of the league’s top teams are in action, so fantasy baseball players have no shortage of fun options to peruse ahead of when contests lock at 7:10 p.m. EST.
Here are three must-start MLB DFS picks for today’s fantasy baseball lineups.

SP Freddy Peralta, MIL Brewers @ PIT Pirates; $9,200
The Brewers’ Freddy Peralta ($9,200) is just the sixth-most expensive starting pitcher on the board today, but he brings pretty comparable production to the top guys at a more palatable price point.
The right-hander averages 18.1 FPPG and is undeniably talented to begin, evidenced by his 2.76 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 90 Ks in 88.1 innings. The stars align even more so here for a big night, though. He averages 21.8 FPPG at home, where he pitches this evening against a Pirates lineup which ranks bottom-five in nearly every hitting stat you can think of. At this salary, Peralta brings a great combination of value, matchup positivity, and lineup differentiation.
OF Ronald Acuna Jr., ATL Braves @ NY Mets; $6,400
I wrote about Ronald Acuna Jr. ($6,500) in yesterday’s edition of this column, and while I hate to immediately repeat selections, the Braves star remains more than deserving with an average of 12.2 FPPG.
As it turns out, Acuna needed no time to reacclimate to the MLB after a lengthy absence and very quickly reclaimed his spot as one of the league’s brightest stars. He slashes .396/.500/.713 with a 1.213 OPS over his first 101 at-bats since returning from injury. He’s tallied 30 runs, 16 RBIs and nine home runs in that same sample. Now, take a moment to read those numbers again despite how unbelievable they look. He went 2-for-5 with a homer and a stolen base last night against the Mets and should be locked into tonight’s lineups in a positive matchup against Frankie Montas ($7,400) with his 4.85 ERA and 1.37 WHIP.
C Will Smith, LA Dodgers @ COL Rockies; $5,900
Look, I understand that Cal Raleigh ($6,400) looks like he’s going to break the single-season homer record for catchers. Don’t get distracted by his presence on the lineup sheet, though.
The Dodgers’ Will Smith ($5,900) offers much better value this evening with an average of 8.8 FPPG and a drool-worthy matchup. Smith slashes .328/.425/.544 with a .969 OPS, 38 runs, 42 RBIs, and nine home runs on the year. He also faces the Rockies at hitter-friendly Coors Field, where German Marquez ($4,500) gets the starting nod tonight. The pitcher’s ERA sits at 6.11 and his WHIP at 1.67, so the Dodgers should light him up tonight. Plus, this heat wave means balls will travel a little further and faster than usual, so a notoriously pro-hitter park becomes even more attractive.
