Former Tottenham star Harry Kane paced Bayern Munich in goals during league play with 26, followed by Michael Olise and Jamal Musiala with 12 apiece. Oliese actually led the side with 15 assists for a total of 27 goal involvements, and Kane himself was second on the squad with eight assists, too.
In Club World Cup play, Bayern Munich downed both Boca Juniors and Auckland City with 12 goals across two games wile allowing just one through their own defense. In those outings, Olise has three goals and two assists, Jamal Musiala netted three goals as well, and Kingsley Coman scored twice and tallied two assists, too. Kane’s tally sits at one goal and one assist. Overall, the side looks dominant in Group C and remains the favorites in this fixture for a reason.
While Benfica are a quality side and the best one Bayern Munich will have faced in the group stage, they’re still far outmatched against the Bundesliga winners. Bayern Munich have more talent from top to bottom and bettors should expect that to show throughout the contest. While Benfica may sneak a goal or two through, Bayern at -105 odds on the Moneyline feels like solid value for this game.
