The Travelers Championship did not begin well for Jordan Spieth, as he bogeyed the first hole and then racked up two more on the front nine. He then bogeyed two of the first three holes on the back nine before withdrawing from the tournament. It’s the first time withdrawing from a tournament in 297 PGA Tour starts.
Golfweek’s David Dusek reported that Spieth woke up with neck pain.
In the $800K Summer Sand Trap tournament, Spieth was rostered on 10.95% of teams.
