The Pacers lead 2-1 in the NBA Finals and are two wins away from the first championship in franchise history. The Thunder will be looking to avoid a 3-1 series hole and even up the series tonight in Indiana. They will aim to rebound from an uncharacteristic performance in Game 3.

Oddsmakers have continually backed the Thunder in this series by a significant margin. Oklahoma City opened up the series as monstrous -650 favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook. Even while trailing 2-1 in this Finals matchup, the Thunder still hold -220 odds of being crowned champions on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Thunder enter Game 4 as six-point favorites and hold -230 odds on the moneyline. The Pacers hold +180 odds of pulling off the upset, with the game total set at 227 points.

This ties the Pacers for the largest home underdog of an NBA Finals in the past 25 years. They match Reggie Miller’s Pacers in Game 5 of the 2000 NBA Finals when they were six-point underdogs against the Lakers. For what it is worth, Indiana blew out Los Angeles 120-87 in this matchup before going on to lose the series.

Looking at the bets placed on DraftKings Sportsbook, it is an interesting mix.

Pacers vs. Thunder Betting Splits

Bettors are favoring the Thunder moneyline with 53% of the bets and 70% of the handle on Oklahoma City. In contrast, 47% of the bets and 30% of the handle are taking the Pacers to win.

The outlook is more balanced on the spread, with 45% of the bets and 58% of the betting handle taking the Thunder to cover -6. This leaves 55% of the bets and 42% of the betting handle backing Indiana to cover +6, which is one of the more even betting splits across these playoffs.

The most clear consensus is on the game total, with 70% of the bets and 78% of the betting handle backing the over at 228 points. To this point, the game has gone under this total in two of the three games played, with the Thunder’s Game 2 victory being the exception.
