The Pacers return home for Game 3 of the NBA Finals after losing the previous matchup on Sunday. Tonight’s game will tip off at 8:30 p.m. ET. Indiana hasn’t lost two straight games this postseason.
Aaron Nesmith has had a good postseason, averaging 13.8 points and 5.8 rebounds while shooting 49.5 percent from the field. Here is my favorite prop bet for Nesmith for Game 3.
Aaron Nesmith over 18.5 Points + Rebounds (-120)
Nesmith is averaging 12 points and eight rebounds through two games in the NBA Finals. On the scoring end, he has a low floor but has shown he possesses a high ceiling. This postseason, Nesmith has five games with 17 or more points. He has also totaled seven-plus rebounds eight times.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Nesmith has an over/under of 18.5 points and rebounds, which is -120. A big thing that has been up and down for Nesmith this postseason has been shot attempts. But it is good that Nesmith is coming off a game where he shot it 5-12 from the field.
He went under in his previous game but has totaled more than 18.5 points and rebounds 10 times this postseason. Nesmith showed in Game 1 of the Finals that even when his scoring is off, he can affect the game at a high level on the boards.
In his previous game, Nesmith was 4-8 on three-pointers, which is promising moving forward. If he can continue to hit threes efficiently while grabbing five-plus boards, recording more than 18.5 points and rebounds is doable in Game 3.
