What happened to Jacob Wilson? Live injury updates for Athletics vs. Angels 6/10/25

UPDATE: Wilson was scratched as a precaution due to tightness in his hamstring, per Mark Kotsay.

Just a few hours before the first pitch of Tuesday’s game vs. the Angels, SS Jacob Wilson was scratched from the lineup. Max Schuemann will move to SS and Luis Urías will enter the lineup and cover at 2B.

With such a late scratch, it’s safe to assume it is probably injury-related, although the cause of his removal from the lineup is still unknown. The rookie is having a fantastic season, already accumulating 93 hits, 38 RBIs and 36 runs this season.
