The DK Horse Acorn, the sister race to the Belmont Stakes, will run at Saratoga for the second time on Friday, June 6.
The race attracts many of the best female thoroughbreds every year. Last year’s winner, Thorpedo Anna, came in off a win in the Kentucky Oaks on her way to Horse of the Year honors at the Eclipse Awards. Hoping to follow in her footsteps, Kentucky Oaks winner Good Cheer enters as the Acorn’s overwhelming favorite.
