A new week in the MLB slate will open with 14 games taking place around the league. That means there are ample opportunities for bettors to place player prop bets and we’ll go over some of our favorites for today with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Elly De La Cruz, over 0.5 stolen bases (+125)
De La Cruz leads the majors in stolen bases by a wide margin with 25 and he’s especially been a menace on the base paths over the past week. He has stolen six bags for the Reds in their last six games, two of them coming against Diamondbacks starter Jordan Montgomery last Wednesday. Well, Cincinnati will go up against Montgomery and Arizona once again tonight and I’ll pencil the electric 6’5” shortstop in for another stolen base.
Adley Rutschman, 2+ alternate hits (+205)
Baltimore will open a three-game AL East set against Toronto this evening and there’s an opportunity for Rutschman to raise his batting average. The All-Star catcher struggled at the plate in their weekend series against the Diamondbacks, but he did blast a solo shot in yesterday’s 9-2 loss. Tonight, he’ll go up against Blue Jays starter Jose Berrios, whom he has owned with a line of 10-16 with a pair of doubles and a homer. I’ll reach into the alternate hit props and predict that Rutschman gets at least two base knocks for the Orioles this evening.
Rhys Hoskins, over 0.5 RBI (+170)
Hoskins was an RBI machine in the Brewers’ four-game series against the Cardinals this past weekend, driving home eight runs during that stretch. The Brew Crew will begin a three-game series against the Pirates this evening and they will face Pittsburgh starter Mitch Keller. Hoskins is 5-8 for his career against Keller, so I’ll predict he keeps this hot streak going by adding another RBI to his stat total tonight.
