The New York Knicks are in a do-or-die scenario for the second straight game. They are down 3-2 against the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Knicks are in Indiana for Game 6 at 8:00 p.m. ET tonight. After a 17-point win on Thursday, New York seems to be finding its rhythm in this series.
But even though the Knicks won two of the last three games, the job isn’t done yet. A victory is needed to force a Game 7 on Monday at the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden. Knicks F OG Anunoby is averaging 16.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game against the Pacers in this series. Here is my favorite prop bet for Anunoby.
OG Anunoby over 15.5 Points (-125)
Anunoby is coming off his worst performance of the series and his least efficient shooting performance since Game 5 against the Boston Celtics. The good news is that he bounced back with 23 points in the following game. But even while shooting 3-14 from the field, Anunoby still totaled 11 points in Game 5. He recorded over 15.5 points in the first four games of the series. You can back him in Game 6 to score over 15.5 points at -125 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Also, Anunoby has hit this scoring mark in six of his last eight games and 11 of 17 in the postseason. Anunoby only played 34 minutes in Game 5, his lowest since Game 3 against the Celtics. In a must-win game on the road, it would be surprising if he didn’t play at least 36 minutes.
Anunoby went 1-7 on three-pointers in his last two games. But he made at least two threes in the four games before that. He shot it 37.2 percent from deep in the regular season, but has only made 34.2 percent of them in the playoffs. Anunoby has struggled shooting three-pointers lately, but it is a good sign that he is still a willing shooter. If Anunoby can be aggressive early in this game, he should be able to total more than 15.5 points.
