The Oilers and Panthers will face off in this year’s Stanley Cup Final. Both teams won their respective conference finals in five games, defeating the Stars and Hurricanes in dominant fashion.

It’s a familiar matchup for NHL fans, as these two teams will rematch from a year ago. The Panthers won a thrilling Game 7 by one goal last season to lift the trophy, breaking Edmonton hearts.

The good news is that the Oilers have won the Western Conference for a second straight season and have a chance to avenge last year’s loss and bring the Stanley Cup home for the first time since 1990. We should be expecting another thrilling series between these two juggernaut teams.

The oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook are seeing this matchup as extremely even. The Panthers are very slight favorites to win the Stanley Cup at -115, with the Oilers at -105 odds.

The Oilers are slight favorites for Wednesday’s Game 1 at home with -120 odds. The Panthers are +100 underdogs with the goals total set at 6.5.

Connor McDavid is the favorite to win the Conn Smythe Trophy at +120 odds, trailed by Sergei Bobrovsky at +250 and Aleksander Barkov at +550.
