The Minnesota Timberwolves lost by two points to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on Monday. Tonight, the Thunder have a chance to clinch a spot in the NBA Finals on their home floor at 8:30 p.m. ET.
Although the Wolves lost Game 4, Nickeil Alexander-Walker provided a massive scoring spark off the bench. He finished the game with 23 points, six assists, and four rebounds while hitting five three-pointers. Here is my favorite prop bet for Alexander-Walker in Game 5.

Alexander-Walker led the Timberwolves in scoring on Monday with 23 points. This was his second 20-point game in this year’s postseason. Although he hasn’t been consistent throughout the playoffs, he has played a much bigger role in this series against the Thunder. He is averaging 25 minutes per game in this series, which is 7.2 more than in the conference semifinals.

Recently, when Alexander-Walker played against his cousin, NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, he has been more aggressive. He has scored 10-plus points in six of his previous seven matchups against OKC.
With his recent production, this is an excellent opportunity to ride the hot hand because if this series is extended and Alexander-Walker continues to score at a high level, his over-under will increase. In this series, Alexander-Walker has shot it exceptionally well, going 51.2 percent from the field and 48 percent on three-pointers. If the Thunder takes an early lead at home, the Wolves could bring in Alexander-Walker earlier in the contest. Even though Alexander-Walker has shown he can do other things on the court, his best skill is scoring, and that is his main goal when he’s on the court.
