Who won the 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge on the PGA TOUR?

It’s been a great season for Ben Griffin ($8,700; 118.5 FPTS) on the PGA TOUR, and he held on to win on a wild and windy day at Colonial Country Club this Sunday.

Griffin won just over a month ago at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans while paired up with Andrew Novak ($8,200; 75 FPTS), but this was the first individual triumph of his career. The 29-year-old from North Carolina has had a very strong season with six top-10 finishes, including one last week at the PGA Championship, where he finished T8 for his best career finish at a major.

This week, he was even better. He started the tournament with a four-under 66 and really went low with a seven-under round on Friday. His two-under on Saturday was good enough to share the lead coming into Sunday’s final round, when he won by posting a one-over round of 71.

He started the day on fire, going eagle-birdie out of the gate to jump ahead of Matthias Schmid ($6,700; 111.5 FPTS), who finished second at the end of the day. Griffin and Schmid both struggled throughout the day, and Griffin didn’t have another birdie in his final 16 holes. He had just four bogeys, though, to finish one-over par for the day. Schmid had six bogeys, six birdies and a double-bogey, while Griffin continually saved par from a variety of challenging situations.

Behind Schmid and Griffin, Bud Cauley ($7,800; 94 FPTS) finished third, three shots behind Griffin, while big-name stars Tommy Fleetwood ($10,000; 86.5 FPTS) and Scottie Scheffler ($13,700; 93.5 FPTS) finished tied for fourth to round out the top five.

In the PGA TOUR $700K SAND TRAP [$200K TO 1ST] on DraftKings, Griffin was owned in only 7.0% of entries, including this one from nyknixs33 that finished in the top spot. The top entry featured a very balanced lineup with six mid-range players who all finished T11 or higher.
