Kirby Yates left Saturday’s game with an apparent injury after just 0.1 innings of work against the Angels.
It wasn’t a pretty outing for the veteran reliever as he inherited a runner on second in the seventh inning. Yates immediately allowed a single before giving up a three-run homer to Logan O’Hoppe.
Luis Rengifo followed that up with a double to left before Yates got his first out on a pop up. He walked Jo Adell and left the game with just 0.1 innings pitched. Yates finished with three earned runs, three hits and one walk on 23 pitches.
The Dodgers haven’t announced what the injury is, but Yates was seen grabbing his hamstring on the mound.
